Eat Chow Opens Second Location in Newport Beach (Shores)

There is a secret dog beach in Newport that we take Martini and Mojito to on Saturdays when it is warm out. As we were driving there a few months ago, I was looking out the window and saw a sign for Eat Chow. I exclaimed to Jason “Eat Chow is opening another location!” But weeks passed and we did not hear or see anything more about it.

Well, the wait is over. On May 23, we were invited to a media preview to check out the new location in Newport Shores and sample the menu.

Eat Chow is known for making really good food, almost all from scratch (with the exception of the brioche buns which are sourced from Upper Crust Bakery). We’ve eaten at their original location several times and have enjoyed everything we’ve ordered. Similar to the Costa Mesa location, this one is decorated with an eclectic mix of blended wood tables, metal chairs and vintage pieces.

We just found out that they are open for breakfast, starting at 7 a.m., so we can now grab a bite on our way home from dog beach!

Mini Turkey Burgers – Shredded Lettuce, Tomator, Caramelized Onions, House Made Pickles and 1000 Island Dressing, Cheddar, served on a Toasted Brioche Bun

Lemon Cookie Cake – Not Too Sweet, House Made Lemon Curd and topped with Fresh Berries
