Hidden in a shopping center full of large chain restaurants, near Angels Stadium and down the street from the Honda Center, is Prime Cut Café and Wine Bar. The philosophy behind this modern steakhouse was to bring a contemporary approach to American food, does it really well and at a better price than most upscale restaurants. Nothing on their menu is over $30.
They are taking it a step further and recently introduced an even more affordable dining option. For $20, Monday through Thursday, guests will be able to have a three-course meal including salads that are fresh cut and to order. These menu items are made from scratch, never frozen.
We were invite to taste the pre-fixe menu and were delightfully surprised by the flavors and the quality of their food. It truly makes for an affordable meal. So the next time you are looking for a place to grab a bite to eat, perhaps before a baseball or hockey game, concert, or you just don’t feel like cooking, stop by Prime Cut Café.
Below are some of the items on the pre-fixe menu that we tried. To see the complete pre-fixe menu, click here.
